The castle was built during the Council of Trent and it has three towers.
The rooms on the upper and central floor preserve its original state of from 1910, while the five rooms of the ground floor were renovated in the winter of 2013. They are bright, modern, tastefully furnished and elegant.
From the castle it is possible to admire the plain of Pergine, while in the distance are the towering peaks of the Dolomites.
From the rooms of the main floor there is a view of the green inner courtyard.
Dinner is served in the medieval halls.
Breakfast includes a buffet with jams, cheeses and cold cuts from Valsugana.
Lunches are fast in the Throne Room with fresh pasta, local cold cuts or "panet of the day" for 11 euros.
For dinner there are traditional foods all fresh with some recipes revisited. In the menu of half board there are 4 courses, with a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian.
There are more than 250 wines offered, the majority from Trentino.
The homemade foods are: pasta, breadsticks, bread and sauces for dinner.
Castel Pergine is in the heart of Valsugana.
The peaks of Trentino are passable on foot or mountain bike and there are many activities to do both in summer and winter.
The Lakes of Caldonazzo and Levico Terme are suitable for relaxation and the practice of outdoor sports.
Pergine Valsugana, Levico Terme and Borgo Valsugana are villages to visit where you can admire Renaissance palaces and country houses with their "pontesel" terrace, typical of this area.
Culture lovers can see "Arte Sella", the contemporary open-air museum in Val di Sella.
In Trento there is Piazza del Duomo, the Castle of Buonconsiglio and the Muse Museum.
