Airone Country House is ideal for a full immersion in nature by choosing sustainable holidays, for anyone who needs healthy organic and traditional eating, for families with children or for anyone who wants to relax.
The owners, Rosanna and Francesco, respect the environment thanks to waste management. They use water and electricity frugally and promote their territory.
They realized centralized a vacuum system, photocells, a radio-controlled alarm, water recovery and wastewater purification.
They also realized also a large portico with grill, barbecue and oven, a 60 square-meter swimming-pool, an orchard and vegetable garden with organic techniques, a shaded area and entertainment for children.
The restaurant, reserved for guests only, keeps the farmhouse ambiance and offers a comfortable and multiethnic furnishing and traditional cooking by using typical, organic products.
The rooms are furnished based on Feng Shui theory.
The Airone Country House applies a 10% discount for Slow Tourism Passport holders, from September to June for stays over 2 nights, and they will receive a welcome drink.
Before the guest departure, the owners will offer a special souvenir or a typical product.
The Airone Country House is situated on hills in the hinterlands of the Conero Riviera and Osimo, which is only 6 km away.
It was born from an ancient farmhouse just renovated by following organic building techniques and Feng Shui principes; it uses the most modern electricity-saving devices with a particular attention to environment.
There are three rooms and one flat, each of them has all the comforts: swimming-pool, fitted green park, games for children, organic cooking, relaxation and a special welcome.
The restaurant is reserved for guests only or, on special events or requests.
Breakfast offers cakes and biscuits; other organic products are from the vegetable garden and orchard.
Lunch is not usually served.
Dinner - prepared for minimum 5 or 6 people – offers typical and zero km dishes of The Marche region. It costs €25 for adults and €15 for children under 10, drinks are not included. It includes an appetizer (hot or cold), first of pasta/rice, or meat/fish dish, with a side dish and cake; with a particular attention to children’s needs.
The wine menu offers only Marche wines.
All the jams, marinated vegetables and tomato purees are handmade.
The Airone Country House is situated on the Monte di Crescia foothills, just a few km from Osimo, a panning town that gives amazing landscapes from Gran Sasso mountain to the Sibillini and Montefeltro.
At about 20 km it is possible reach Conero beaches.
At about 14 Km, on a hill 212 meters above sea level, between the valleys of the rivers Musone and Aspio there is Castefidardo with its Accordion museum, the only one in Italy, and a glorious history of the Renaissance.
Between 5 and 15 km there is a land of castles which includes the centers of Agugliano, Offagna, Camerata Picena, Polverigi, and Santa Maria Nuova, all medieval towns rich in history, art and popular festivals.
Loreto, with its Sanctuary of the Madonna and its elegant buildings, it is only 14 km and at the same distance there is the stately town of Recanati, the birthplace and residence of Giacomo Leopardi.
The Conero Park is only 20-30 kilometers, the enchanting stretch of coast between Ancona marina in Porto Recanati and the Roman towns of Numana and Sirolo.
Not too far away there are also Ancona, Macerata, Jesi and many other interesting towns and medieval villages, all worth a visit for their architectural richness and atmosphere of yesteryear.
Finally, the area is famous for its traditional products - wine, oil, cheese and sausages - its cultural and folk events - festivals and medieval festivals - and for affordable factory outlets of big names and small artisans.
