Villa Nuba’s charming cottage is the ideal place for who are looking for a quality and historic house within walking distance from the historic centre of Perugia.
Guests have at their disposal an eco-friendly saltwater swimming pool which is open every year from the beginning of April to the end of October.
Giuseppe and Elga, the owners of the historic house, are always available to provide information about cultural and food and wine events; local wine producers and wine tours and guided tours in the area. A library about Umbrian and Italian residencies is available to the guests.
Upon prior request, small and medium-sized dogs are welcome.
The owners carefully recycle materials and invite their guests to do the same without too much effort as the house is equipped with everything necessary to do so.
Villa Nuba offers a 10% discount to Slow Tourism passport holders.
This discount is granted from November 1st to April and cannot be combined with other offers.
New Year’s is not part of this initiative.

Villa Nuba is an old XV century farmstead with antique and luxurious furniture. Its location is unique: only 15 minutes on foot from the historical center of Perugia and, at the same time, surrounded by green hills rich in olive trees and centuries-old plants.
It is the ideal place for those who are looking for a stay in a typical Umbrian valley, but with all the comforts of modern cities such as shops, supermarkets, bus stops, restaurants and pizzerias.
The owners live in the main villa and they are always available for tips and advice as to how to live in Umbria and Perugia as locals do.
Villa Nuba offers 3 quality residences that can be rented for short or longer stays:
- Pinturiccho residence is 80 square meters with 4 + 2 beds, a bathroom with Jacuzzi and a shower, a large kitchen fully equipped with a breakfast table; an elegant living room with fireplace; a comfortable sofa bed and satellite TV, 2 double bedrooms (upon requests the beds in one of them can be separated and a dune with a romantic and relaxing sky with stars); a private patio and a terrace with a panoramic view.
- Perugino residence is 80 square meters with 4+2 beds, with two bathrooms, a Jacuzzi bathtub, two showers, two double-room bedrooms (upon request the beds in one of them can be separated; in both bedrooms there is a dune with a romantic and relaxing sky with stars), a fully equipped kitchen, a big typical living room with fireplace, a comfortable double sofa beds, satellite TV and private patio.
- Bonfigli is a 50 square meter residence with 2+1 beds, a bathroom with a latest generation Jacuzzi for two people placed in the corner, a romantic junior suite with double beds and a relaxing sky with stars, a charming living room with fireplace, a single bed sofa and a fully equipped kitchen.
The property is surrounded by a large garden with an eco-friendly saltwater swimming pool, a playground, a garden with aromatic herbs, parking and a barbecue.
High speed internet is available to the guests.
All the apartments are equipped with kitchen utensils and a washing machine (there is no service for bed linen and towels).
At just a few steps lie the Medieval and Etruscan downtown Perugia, where there are numerous beautiful attractions to be seen, such as the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria with famous artworks, The Etruscan Arch; still perfectly intact, Fontana Maggiore and Rocca Paolina, the underground part of the city where it is possible to enjoy two worldwide events: The Umbria Jazz Festival and Eurochocolate.
During Christmas the charm of centuries-old and traditional living nativities pervade the whole city.
Moreover, visitors will be surprised by the beauty of such villages that are easy to reach such as: Corciano, Assisi, Spello, Gubbio, Spoleto, Todi, Montefalco, Bevagna, Trasimeno lake and Orvieto, spaced out by the truly green Umbrian hills.
