Rainwater is collected to water and for domestic use for 10 months a year. Separate collection of the garbage. Reducing energy waste is carried out with energy saving lamps.
Staff is English and French speaker. Use of local products and wines produced by the owners of the B&B. It is possible to request a tasting session to enjoy the flavors of the past through the products of the vineyard. Guests are provided with all information necessary to discover all the beauties of the surrounding area.
The B&B “Il Vigneto” provides up to 15 people. It is located in a villa in Trecastagni, charming village on the slopes of Etna. It consists of 5 comfortable triple-double rooms with possibility of extra bed, air conditioning, heating and TV; each one has a terrace or balcony overlooking the garden and the vineyard.
In the summer time the breakfast buffet is served on the porch next to the garden, which offers a stunning view over the Etna Volcano; in the winter it comes in the large breakfast room. Breakfast consists of coffee, milk and tea, organic jams, freshly baked bread and sandwiches, seasonal fruits and juices.
The city of Nicolosi, Acireale, Etna, Catania and Taormina. Hiking on the lava and riding the horses. Trips in the woods of chestnut trees or in the vineyards. Recommended to discover how to produce wine, oranges, peaches, apricots and olive oil.
