Upon request salty and vegetarian breakfast made of savory stuffed rolls, tarts and cheese accompanied by honey and jam.
The barbecue and the external space are available to the guests.
The whole structure has been restored in order to reduce energy waste: insulating windows were installed to reduce energy dispersion, a hydraulic system to collect rainwater; all radiators regulate the temperature independently and the faucets have flow control.
In the tavern, guests have at their disposal an abundant breakfast made with typical and natural products as well as coffee and tea, juice and biscuits, cakes, yogurt, jams and chocolates and seasonal delicacies.
The B&B is located in Bazzano Inferior, a small village near Spoleto.
The building is the result the of detailed restoration work of an old elementary school attended by children in the surrounding area.
It was also used to organize events and ceremonies organized by the local community.
Nowadays the B&B has two large, comfortable bedrooms with scenic views on the Umbrian countryside.
An outside area is available to the guests to relax and sunbathe, for reading a book while comfortably relaxing on a hammock or even to barbecue for dinner.
The inside furniture and the rest of the accessories are antique reused objects mainly coming from rural times.
Cotto tiles, wood and stone are the main elements that make the location cozy and welcoming.
Spoleto, city of the event “Festival dei due Mondi” and a UNESCO world heritage site, is 6 km away.
Not far are Assisi, the Fonti del Clitunno with its small temple, also a Unesco centre, Cascate delle Marmore, Castelluccio di Norcia where, in the summer, it is possible to admire the beautiful blooming flowers.
Just a few km from the B&B there is the via Francigena walking tour; a path surrounded by woods and olive trees.
There are two available bedrooms: The Walnut and The Chestnut. The names were picked to evoke the local environment.
Prices are from a minimum of 50€ to a maximum of 80€ per night, double room.
Included in the price are: the use of the barbecue, breakfast, use of the equipment in the external area and WIFI.
For excursions, guests can rent booster bikes (electric bike).
