The structure has been actively engaged in the progressive achievement of energy self-sufficiency. In all the rooms are taken the appropriate measures to save water and electricity. The electricity comes from the photovoltaic system.
Just in front of the house there is a big synergistic garden made by Flavio, the owner of Le Tamerici. In the garden, available for guests, there is a swimming bio-pond.
Adjacent to the B&B is in the process of building a straw bale building in which the owners will move in to leave more space to the B&B.
Breakfast is included and includes a variety of local and genuine products: jams with fruit and vegetables produced on site, when possible, pastries and hand-made syrups.
Other products, such as honey, yogurt, bread and coffee, always organic, are chosen carefully between different realities taking care of solidarity and sustainable economy.
The B&B Le Tamarici, during the low season, reserves a discount of 10% for all travellers with Slow Tourism Passport.
The B&B Le Tamerici is manage by Flavio with the help of his mother, Eleonora. It is located on the hills of the territory of Marche, 20 km from the sea.
The B&B Le Tamerici is an old peasant farm renovated a few years ago; it can be reached along a gravel road that opens onto the countryside.
Part of the building is permanently occupied; other rooms are available for guests. The B&B has three rooms with private bathroom.
In fine weather, breakfast is served outside, under the shade of arcades. The garden is at guests disposal and it has got a swimming pond with sun terraces and an outdoor shower.
There are several corners to relax, including a grove.
The B&B Le Tamerici is located near the town of Fano and several seaside resorts within 20 km.
Being located on a hill, it can also easily reach the inland towards Urbino and the area to the pre-Apennine mountains Catria and Nero where it can be possible to make beautiful excursions, more or less difficult, or reach some notes cliffs suitables for climbing.
Not far from the B&B Le Tamerici is worth a visit even to many small medieval nearby villages, as Mondavio, with its famous Rocca Roveresca.
Celebrations and festivals of all kinds animate especially the summer evenings.
Remarkable is also the theatre’s program of the province of Pesaro Urbino that offers among its many shows also numerous concerts of jazz music and some summer festivals.
