La Via del Volano Room & Breakfast is a new building energy efficient and has been classified into class A from Emilia Romagna region.
Thanks to the use of a plumbing system in the heat pump assisted by a photovoltaic system integrated into the roof, the owners could exclude totally the use of natural gas for energy supply.
In addition to the energy efficiency of the property's philosophy of sustainability has also been adopted in carrying out their houses: for the cleaning of the environment are used only products certified by ICEA, while for the "courtesy" in the rooms are adopted dosing of environmentally friendly cleaning supplies in bulk.
Breakfast is homemade and includes fruit and baked goods manufactured in the territory, fresh bread, cereals, butter, jam, yoghurt and savoury products such as eggs, meats and cheeses to satisfy the needs of international guests. A lot of attention is given to those who suffer from some food allergies by providing Soy or Rice’s drinks, sugar-free products, or with kamut flour or spelt. For single-dose packaged products there is a wide assortment selected among the leading brands that produce biological.
La Via del Volano Room & Breakfast is in the centre of the Park of Delta del Po Emilia Romagna, on the embankment of Po di Volano, a few steps from the dock of the Club Nautico Volano and, to be precise, 15 km from the sea. The owners Lisa and Lorenzo have collaborated with other tourism businesses in the area to offer its guests a wide range of activities during their stay. Boat trips are organize from the Po di Volano to the mouth of the Po River or in the valleys of Comacchio.
It is possible to join days on horseback, by bicycle or on foot, or take guided tours in various languages to Comacchio village or to the Abbey of Pomposa. Lisa and Lorenzo are ready also to recommend and/or book local restaurants where it can taste the local cuisine.
