Al Ferdinandeo

Well Done

The owners Mrs. Marzia and her mother Silvia are ready to inform their guests about the most interesting local historical and naturalistic itineraries in Trieste. They also provide information about local events and excursions to explore the surrounding area.
Waking up at the Ferdinandeo means having the opportunity to take part in yoga exercises and tasting typical sweets.
The B&B is eco-friendly: it is equipped with solar panels, a photovoltaic system and a pellet heater.
Recycling is conducted, water consumption reduced and detergents that respect the environment are used.

Al Ferdinandeo is a small rural house built on two levels with visible beams, wood and stone.
The B&B is located in a strategic area to easily get around and to experience the artistic and naturalistic attractions of Trieste, one of the most multicultural Italian cities.  It is near a hill, next to the Ferdinandeo woods, 4 km from the city centre.
Breakfast is made with Km 0 typical products: traditional sweets from Trieste such as apple strudel, pinza, putizza and palacinke (omelets filled with jam or chocolate).

The beatuful square of Unità d’Italia in Trieste is easy to be reach by bus (number 11 and 25) which runs every 10 minutes. Not far is the Baia di Sistiana, a sea destination. Not to miss are the castles of Miramare and San Giusto. And also the cave located in the plateau of Carso, just a few km from Trieste and from the border with Slovenia. There is also the Natural Park of Val Rosandra.
