The B&B is located a short distance from the Polytechnic University of Como, from the University of Insubria and from important monuments such as the Castle Baradello or Temple Voltiano, is close to the Olympic Pool and field CONI and is 5 km from the Hospital Sant'Anna. From the B&B it’s possible to reach the city center and the lake by foot in 15 minutes or a few stops by bus which stops under house.
With independent entrance, the B&B is on the second floor where are located the breakfast room and a lounge with fireplace, library, sofa for guests. On the third floor, the B&B has 3 bedrooms, two singles and one double (with possibility of adding a bed for a child) and two private bathrooms with shower.
In the warm, family atmosphere of the breakfast room, there is a wide range of hot and cold beverages, accompanied by a fresh and genuine buffet.
The owner will offer typical sweet from Como and Valtellina to her guests.
During the summer, guests can have breakfast while enjoying the magnificent panorama that stands out from the balcony, or in the green garden behind the house, to start the day with serenity.
During long stay it’s possible to ask for breakfast "eggs & bacon", typical international salt breakfast.
Nearby Como, it’s possible to visit Cernobbio, Menaggio, Bellagio, Lecco, Varese.
Lake Como is located almost in an Alpine valley, so its banks are mountains that allow wonderful walks.
Also, in the hills northwest of Como, it find the park of Spina Verde.
Just say Lake Como, to know what is beautiful in this area: the beautiful historic villas (Villa Olmo, Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbianello, ... ), the lake, Brunate and its lighthouse that looks away, the Castle Baradello, fortress of Frederick Barbarossa and more with the remains of ancient Como until the recent trenches of Sasso di Cavallasca reached during walks in the woods.
