The wood of pine and larch was used for the structure, resulting in a modern, yet traditional, with natural materials such as loden and linen.

In summer, guests of CHALET ELISABETH- dolomites alpine&charm, have many activities to choose from: guided hikes, Nordic walking, mountain biking, downhill, climbing, sunrise hikes, yoga, slackline, tennis, swimming, and in winter, in addition to the largest area of ski slopes in the world "DolomitiSuperski", snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding and cross country skiing.
For a romantic Christmas, there are markets in Val Gardena, Bolzano, Merano and Bressanone.
In Selva the market is held from December 4 to January 6, 2016.
The small mountain village where there is the Chalet Elisabeth is located in the heart of the Dolomites, at the foot of the Sella massif, is the highest town in Val Gardena and through its connection to the legendary Ski-tour "Sella Ronda", offers its guests welcoming ski fun on over 500 km of slopes.
For the first time this year, the ski slopes will be ideally transferred to the center of Selva.
From December 4 to January 6, along a continuous strip of lights 350 meters long it will be hung small wooden cabins, also will be recreated a typical mountain village, with houses built of wood and stone, just like the farms once.
On this very particular market it can taste: sweet dried fruit such as the traditional "Zelten" or "Weihnachtsstollen", the tasty biscuits gingerbread "Lebkuchen" or pastry "Spitzbuben", the artisan production of chocolate.
It cannot be miss the mulled wine or mulled apple or mulled elder and it can buy unique items such as pillows of pine shavings of Gardena, the wool slippers, traditional wood carvings and many other items to decorate the next Christmas .
