The guests can live experiences in direct contact with nature by helping Marino and Elide in the many activities of their rural life. Upon the guests’ arrival, information about what to do and see in the territory is made available together with everything important about typical products in the menu and where to find them their history and traditions. At the farmhouse Laperegina, the water is served in carafes and comes from a local spring.
Laperegina is a small family-run business. The farmhouse is located in a green area, in the middle of the three national parks of Abruzzo, Majella and Gran Sasso. The farmhouse is the result of a careful restoration of an old shepherd’s house carried out by the owners Marino and Elide.
The majority of the food served by Laperegina is homemade, such as the honey and the tasty jams. For breakfast guests can pick amongst a variety of food such as tarts, eggs and seasonal fruit. The restaurant service is only for the guests of the farmhouse. A light lunch can be eaten together with Marino and Elide. For dinner every night a typical dish from Abruzzo is prepared with first and second courses, dessert drinks, water and wine. The price is included in the half board treatment. The wine menu offers two kinds of local wine: Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and Trebbiano.
Pescara (45 km away), Chieti (30km) and L’Aquila (60 km) can be visited as day trips. Not to be missed are other towns: Sulmona, Scanno, Pacentro e l’Altipiano di Campo Imperatore. The Adriatic Sea is 50 km away. Hiking lovers can take advantage of the mountains that surround the farmhouse. There are also old villages, hermitages, the least-polluted Italian river and a lot of nature.
Laperegina offers its guests three bedrooms with bathrooms, one of which is located in a tree. Half board service is offered (dinner, overnight stay and breakfast). In the low season the price is 50€ per night, during high season 55€.
The solarium, in-bedroom television and access to the swimming pool are included in the price. With a small extra, there is also a Wi FI connection.
