The farmhouse “Grilla” is an educational farm where it’s possible to do many activities.
The little ones can discover the forest and the icehouse; visit the farm and discover the vegetable garden and the orchard.
There are also planned workshops such: from milking to cheese, collection of fruits and vegetables, cook with flowers and dye with natural colors.
It was also started the laboratory of natural soap.
The Farmhouse La Grilla has managed since the origins by the Family Ferrando.
The original house has been completely renovated in recent years resulting in a functional structure, while maintaining its architectural characteristics of a country home.
The La Grilla is located in the City of Mele, in the Ponente Genovese, immediately behind the coast and is nestled just beneath the Ligurian-Po watershed at an altitude of about 300 meters.
The farmhouse is surrounded by mountain ranges that reach Punta Martin with the apex height of 1001 meters.
There are many schools that organize guided tours in the farm, to discover the biological processes that are the basis of our production.
In the new structure there are 4 rooms with separate entrance, heating and private services that are: room of the Elves; Room of the Fairies; of Gnomes; of Rabbits. In the original structure there is the Chamber of Children. Relax, but not only, it’s possible to do many sports activities in the immediate vicinity, guided tours, archery and for those who are more trained, rock climbing.
The farmhouse’s restaurant is open from Friday night to Sunday night, while the accommodation is always open.
The closure is in January.
To visit there are the Museum of the Charter, the Neviera, the Terme of Acquasanta, the Sanctuary of Acquasanta, the Carbonaia, the Stone House.Those who want to follow a cultural history itinerary can visit the collection center and testimony of the paper art and the beautiful chapel of St. Anthony in the village of Acquasanta.
