The farmhouse is the ideal place to relax; eating and drinking well, and also as a way of jumping back into the past to breathe the rural atmosphere when farmers used to work on the plantation and the production of local products.
Part of the farmhouse is also a small farm that produces high-quality grapes, olive groves and a vegetable garden for the family and guests spread over 5 hectares.
Upon their arrival, guests can find in their room water and chocolate and some informative brochures about Abruzzo.
When guests leave, the owners give as gift a bottle of the wine they produce and another product from the farm.
There is free WiFi.
Moreover, there is the possibility of going to the beach resort Summertime, which is located 8.5 km from Francavilla municipality on a beach with an umbrella with two chairs per each mini suite for the whole duration of the stay.
And for a little extra, there is the availability of mountain bikes for guests.
Capezzagna is a farmstead surrounded by the tranquility of Teatine hills.
The central position makes it an ideal point of reference for travelers interested in visiting the most attractive destinations in the Abruzzo Region, amongst which are the Adriatic sea and Majella national Park.
The owners Mauro and Sandra take care of their guests by making available useful information about the territory and providing comfortable accommodations.
The farmhouse is the end result of a careful restoration that maintained the old structure of the farmstead going back to the beginning of the XX century.
The original division of the space is well-suited to the offered hospitality service: the large house with its barn and the house where workers of the old farm used to stay have nowadays been refined into small suites with views overlooking olive groves and a vineyard.
Indoors, the history of the old property is made tactile through furniture made in a “poor art style” and the numerous suggestive objects recycled from the original house that recall the true meaning of rural life.
Guests who just feel like relaxing and reading a book or watching TV can take advantage of the common room.
The big fireplace in the eating area warms up evenings to be spent together with other guests to connect and spend friendly moments while enjoying vacation.
Outside there are two large porches, a terrace and several common areas.
Right in the front of the farmhouse is a large lawn.
The space around the farmhouse, where rows of Merlot can be admired, is dedicated to events.
Eating at Capezzagna farmhouse means eating home made traditional dishes.
Amongst these is the pasta made with local flour, cakes, biscuits, orange marmalade, various kind of fruit jams, extra virgin olive oil and the various varieties of wine produced by the owners.
The farmhouse is just a few kilometers from the ski resorts and the beaches of the Adriatic Sea.
Capezzagna’s guests can participate in activities organized by the owners or in guided excursions to discover the many nearby attractions, such as the hermitage of San Bartolomeo a Roccamorice (36 km), the hermitage of Santo Spirito a Serramonacesca (37 km) and the waterfall of San Giovanni a Bocca di Valle (27 Km). With a one day trip it is possible to easily reach and visit bordering regions: Umbria, Lazio, Marche, Molise, Campania and Puglia.
Capezzagna farmhouse has 4 small suites – called Adriatico, Majella, Miglianico and Gran Sasso – with private bathrooms and independent entrances.
One of the suites also has a kitchen.

- One child under 10 years old per each family is free
- Between 0 and 3 in the crib: up to 5€ per day
- Between 4 and 9 half price
- Between 10 and 14 there is a 30% reduction
- For groups of 8 and more adults there is a 10% reduction
- For a second week there is a 5% reduction
Discounts for restaurant service:
Children between 3 and 10 are entitled to a 50% discount
Bedrooms have all the necessary equipment for personal hygiene, linens (changed every 4 days) and towels (changed every 2 days), independent heating, circuit breakers for room and bathroom, first aid kit, TV, fan, and upon request, a portable air conditioner.
Not included in the price: golf, with a 20% discount on the Greens Fee at the Miglianico Golf Club 3 km away. Horseback riding with a 20% discount per one hour lesson and/or a 4 km ride; guided excursions(and equipment rental) for hikes or biking with the organization Bikelife.
