A single room is located on the ground floor and is suitable to accommodate a disabled person. Inside the old barn there is a small museum of old farming tools and household objects found in our basements and attics.Pets are welcome . The farmhouse has been restored preserving its original structure.
Located in the green valley of Samoggia, on the hills of Bologna (to 250 mt. above sea level), is the perfect place to enjoy your stay, away from the traffic jams into an oasis of peace and quite. Once It was the home of farmers who cultivated the surrounding background. The house is still located inside a farm of 70 hectares of land cultivated with crops, vineyards and partly groved. We have four double rooms, two with twin beds and two single rooms. Also available are two fully furnished apartments.
Enjoy a good breakfast buffet served on the porch or inside in two rooms in the event of bad weather. Choose from hot drinks: milk, coffee, cappuccino, tea, chocolate, or fruit juices, yogurt, cereals, jams, fresh bread and cakes and homemade cookies.
Ca 'Bertu' is very close to interesting historic towns like Castello di Serravalle, Monteveglio, Bazzano and other small towns in the province of Bologna, often host festivals aimed at the knowledge of the territory and its typical products. Easy to find out restaurants and “trattorias” in the area where to taste the traditional Emilia deli. Not too far away even from Ferrara, Ravenna, Mantua and Parma.
