There are many initiatives that Sara who manages the Abbazia Sette Frati Farm offers her customers.
Upon reservation guests can take part in cooking classes, tastings of local products and lessons in how to make the household objects and ornamental products grown in the farm.
The building is suitable for families. There are also activities for children: laboratories about the relationship between children and nature, and visits to the farm with their parents.

For Slow Tourism passport holders is applied a discount of 10 % for the stay, and a free package with 0.250 g (quantity for 10 people) of pure saffron in threads that it is cultivated in Sara Sposini’s farm.


The Abbey Farm Sette Frate is situated in a historical art complex from the twelfth century.
It is an ancient abbey renovated conservatively with painted vaults, with rooms, apartments and a dining room for breakfast, where it is possible to make it in complete autonomy.
In the farm there is the microMuseum of rural culture, a collection of objects, preserved in time that tell the scenes of a big family engaged in land activities.
The environment is quiet, rustic and comfortable.
The interiors are furnished in a rustic style, the rooms and apartments are equipped with every comfort, the ceilings with wooden beams, the terracotta floors and parquet and windows are sound-absorbing and insulated with mosquito screens.
The apartment "Settefrati" has a large room with a double bed and two single beds, kitchen and a large bathroom. It is equipped with air conditioning, washing machine and free wi-fi.
The room "Herculaneum" has a double bed, a single bed and a bathroom. It is equipped with individual climate control and internet access.
The room "Tower" has a double and a single bed. It also has a large bathroom. It is equipped with independent A/C and free wi-fi.
In the common room has the kitchen, TV, fireplace and pellet stove.
The Garden of Memories is outside the cloister, with aromatic flowers that color the space.
Outside, there is saffron cultivation, an olive grove, vegetable gardens, meadows, orchards and the land.
Vegetables can be picked and cooked by customers independently in the apartment or in the large kitchen of the large common room.

The customers of dell’abbazia Sette frati can prepare their breakfasts independently.
For the first meal of the day there are handmade cakes, jams, fruit, biscuits, cookies, juice, coffee, tea, milk, teas and infusions.
The customers for meals have all the vegetables grown in the garden, which can be cooked and eaten independently in the kitchen of the apartment or in the communal lounge.
The home made foods are: cakes and jams.

In Pietrafitta there is the paleontological museum, which shows finds from the Pleistocene found in the area.
In Piegaro to visit there is the glass museum, where it periodically organizes educational workshops and entertainment for children and adults.
Panicale and Paciano are very characteristic villages.
For carp and fishing lovers and bird watchers there is Pietrafitta lake.
In Fontignano there is Pietro “Perugino”’s tomb.
Mugnano is instead a town with painted walls, to appreciate the paintings made during the 80’s by artists from Perugia.
Not far from the building there are: San Feliciano, Trasimeno lake and Perugia.
