This plant, with its 150 years, is considered among the oldest specimens in Europe: in the spring its branches, which are woven on the facade to cover an ancient sundial, are covered with clusters of infinite shades of purple.

The building preserves the atmosphere of warm elegance and harmony of composition typical of the homes of the '700 in Lombardia, along with some evocative remains of the previous century.
It dates back to 1587 the conversion of a fortified structure existing in 1400, in "hunting house" of the Visconti-Sforza. Today, the structure of its classic architectural lines boasts porches, vaulted semicircular colonnades, marble fireplaces, living rooms with tiled floors, Venetian mosaics, frescoes and coffered ceilings.
Palazzo Ronchelli is located in the heart of Valcuvia, in a village overlooking sunny and cool in front of the mountain range of the Campo dei Fiori.
